Disciple Now is a weekend Youth discipleship event filled with Bible Study, fellowship, corporate worship, & tons of fun & memories. Youth are divided by grade & gender into host homes where they will stay Friday & Saturday nights. We come together as a group for worship with an awesome praise band and speaker on Friday night, Saturday morning and night, & Sunday AM.

BRETT KUNKLE will be our DNOW Pastor. Brett is the founder and president of MAVEN, a movement to equip the next generation to know truth, pursue goodness and create beauty. He has more than 25 years of experience working with junior high, high school, and college students.
Brett has developed a groundbreaking approach to mission trips, creating a one-of-a-kind experience that immerses participants in real-life engagement in apologetics, theology, worldview and evangelism in Berkeley, California, and Salt Lake City, Utah.
In addition, Brett is a Teaching Fellow at the Impact 360 Institute. He was an associate editor for the Apologetics Study Bible for Students and co-authored A Practical Guide to Culture: Helping the Next Generation Navigate Today’s World.
He received his Master’s degree in philosophy of religion and ethics from Talbot School of Theology. Brett lives with his wife and kids in Southern California.
SOLOMON HALL will be leading our DNOW Worship! Solomon graduated from our Youth Group in 2018. He graduated from Auburn University and has led worship the last several years at Auburn Community Church. He is married to another FBMSM Alumni, Mary Ann Pittman, whom he definitely did not begin dating until AFTER the summer they interned together with Russell back in 2022 🙂

Our DNOW 2025 theme is ANCHORED. Hebrews 6:19 tells us “We have this hope as an ANCHOR for the soul, firm and secure.” Our weekend will have an Apologetics focus, as we further anchor our faith in the truth of the gospel so that we can be confident in it, live it, & share it.
