This project will provide the opportunity to minister to people coming to the spring and fall races at Talladega Superspeedway. Opportunities for evangelism will abound and the ministry will lead a worship service to be held on Sunday morning before the race.

Hope Heals Camp

July 12-17, 2020 & July 19-24, 2020

Hope Heals Camp is a time of respite, resourcing, and relaxation for families affected by disability. We strive to wholistically serve every member of a family unit, which means there are myriad ways to contribute at Camp. Based on your preference and our needs, you may serve in one of the following: Compassionate Companion (CC), Floater, Kids Activity Crew, Hospitality Crew, Tech Crew, Medical Crew, General Crew, or Nursery Crew.

This team will assist with VBS at Petaluma Valley Baptist Church in the evening. Outreach projects in the day with North Bay Area Church Planters. Cross Culture Learning Labs may be possible

Queens & Brooklyn, New York

This 4-5 day trip entails working with an organization called Global Gates. We will be teamed up with a few North American missionaries who are working with South Asian people groups. Our team will receive training that will equip us for spreading the Gospel broadly and finding Persons of Peace among these people groups living in Queens and Brooklyn. We will be sent out daily with the goal of making connections for future follow-up and telling people about Christ.

This team will be dedicating two new churches, host a Pastor’s Conference, provide individual ministry, preaching, and evangelism.

This team will be comprised of youth students and parents to do construction, VBS, women’s & men’s bible studies, testimonies, preaching and more to impact the people of Cuba with the Gospel.

March 13-22, 2020

This team will participate in helping to do outreach and prayer walking to help the new church plant in Queens Park London. This is Thomas and Elizabeth West’s church. All teams will have a chance to interact with people from a variety of walks of life who now live in the sprawling mega city of London. Come join this exciting venture to make a difference in this beautiful city.

Zimbabwe, Africa

April 2020

This would be an exploratory trip for prayer, vision building and planning for future mission trips. It will involve some ministry in churches and work in a new mission field. The team will be working with a local Zimbabwe pastor, Charles Chiweshe, who has started a new Baptist Church in the capital city of Harare. He has been preaching and in music ministry for over 40 years and a close friend of Tim Cearley. He wants help in prayer, evangelism, discipleship and teaching. We would prayer walk, make visits in villages and plan for future efforts to help start a church in this spiritually dark area.

Trujillo, Peru

May 29 - June 7, 2020

Our ministry efforts take place in a squatters village of over 10,000 families being served by three young church plants. Children’s festivals, worship services, evangelistic community meals, and small construction projects are tools we use to grow the church influence in the community.

Xexeu, Pernambuco

July 4-19 (or July 4-12), 2020

This team will help with the construction of a church building. We hope that we will leave the church members with a building in which they will be able to worship when we depart. There will be a glasses clinic where we will give about 600 pairs of reading glasses so the people will be able to read their Bibles. We will also conduct a Vacation Bible School for local children and youth. We expect about 150 children to attend VBS.

Guatemala

July 18-25, 2020

This a hands-on construction project that utilizes a gas powered hydraulic drilling rig to puncture the Earth and connect the community to a fresh water aquifer via a hand pump well. While some members run the rig others are able go out and teach proper hygiene to the community and fellowship. We will be led by our partners Living Water International. This team will work with the Congojas Baptist Church and do construction, VBS, women’s & men’s bible studies, testimonies, preaching and more to impact the people of Cuba with the Gospel.

North Central Asia

September 18-27, 2020

This will be in partnership with the SBOM/ FBC Fairhope. The team will be men who love to fish. The tour is called Anglers’ Paradise. We will be fishing for six days for over 50 varieties of fish but most popular is trout. The tour company will furnish fishing guides and interpreters. The fishing expedition includes guides, housing, meals, translators, equipment, and transportation. The purpose of the trip is to create access for ministry and to build relationships with nationals for the opportunity to share the Gospel

This team will host a retreat at the Matanza Baptist Camp for camp staff and their family members. The week’s activities include bible teaching, preaching, crafts, food, fellowship and more. The goal of this week is to offer spiritual enrichment and physical refreshment to these faithful servants.

Jacmel, Haiti

Since 2010, Children’s Hope has been working in the Jacmel area to care for children, strengthen families, and serve communities in Jesus’ name. We send mission teams with the goal of serving the community and strengthening churches for the advancement of the Gospel in Jacmel and all of Haiti. Teams serve in various ways, including mobile medical & dental clinics, outreach/evangelism, discipleship, construction, and meeting other needs.
