"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

We believe in the power of prayer.

Our Prayer Ministry consists of a group of Prayer Warriors who lift up the needs of our church, our community, our nation, and our world. We would consider it an honor if you would allow us to prayer for your special need.

In addition to praying for special needs, we also want to make an impact by praying for the spiritual awakening of our families, our friends, our nation and our world.

Will you join us in answering the call?

Billy Austin

Dear brothers and sisters,

I urge you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to join in my struggle by praying to God for my marriage that is in trouble. I feel as if the Lord has directed me to ask for your help in praying for our marriage, friendship, family and that Irena (wife) will come home and stay.

Irena took a job in Poland to be closer to her mom and dad. She has been there for nine months, and her tour of duty should end July 22 (she can visits). After her Christmas visit, things took a strong turn for the worse. She said some very hurtful things, not being available, getting drunk, not calling and I believe something bad has happen. Over the past couple of weeks, Irena has tried to reconnect, but we are having trouble, and our conversations haven’t gone well. I have been speaking gracious words to her, and while I was talking with her on the phone, she said we were doing really good. But posted that I was pushing her away. So, I ask that you pray for me. I need his help, his joy, peace, guidance, and his strength to remain strong.

I have added the verses numbers that the Lord has placed on my heart.

Irena is coming home to visit from May 1 – May 10 (I’m praying this will happen). Please pray for a miracle of renewal for our marriage, friendship, family during the upcoming visit and that GOD will protect us moving forward. Luke 15:20

Pray that the Father will turn her heart back to me and the boys and reunite us and that she will not want to return to Poland other than to quit her job, packed her things, and come home to our boys and me for good. Psalm 45:10-11 Listen to me, O royal daughter; take to heart what I say. Forget your people and your family far away. For your royal husband delights in your beauty; honor him, for he is your Lord.

Pray

that we will work together through the pain and hurt. That I can be the Husband, GOD has called me to be, to forgive, and not look back. And that he will make Irena and me stronger for it. Luke 7:41-43

Although I have felt like “Job” for the past three months, I know this is GOD will or it wouldn’t have happy. So pray that his will be done, and that Irena will accept the Lord Jesus’ saving grace for forgiveness and that she will be able to forgive herself. That the Lord will deliver us from temptation from He that comes to steal, kill, and destroy what GOD has joined together. Matthew 6:12-13

Please keep us in your prayer and email me. Then, by the will of God, I will be able to come to you with a joyful heart, and we will be an encouragement to each other from the victory we will have. For I know it is coming.

I pray that the Lord will help me by guiding you in his will for my life. May he speak to you about my situation and give you the same revelation as he has given me. May the Lord Bless you for your love in praying for us.

WAR ROOM

Join us for prayer in the main sanctuary the 1st Wednesday of every month!

Order of Corporate Prayer

  1. Praise/Thanksgiving – Time to thank God for what He has done for us. A time of dropping off the cares of the world and beginning to concentrate on our gratitude for His goodness to us as we prepare to enter into His presence.  This is a good time to read a Psalm of thanksgiving. (An example is Psalm 100.)
  2. Confession – Confess our sins to God and asking His forgiveness according to 1 John 1:9 and/or Psalm 51. The Word says God can’t hear our prayers if we harbor wickedness in our hearts (Psalm 66:18).
  3. Adoration – A time of praising and then worshipping God for Who He is!!! (Revelation 4:8,11).
  4. Protection – Put on our spiritual armor before entering into intercession (Ephesians 6:10-18).
  5. Intercession – Time is very limited (50 minutes) so our prayers on each subject should be limited to 1 to 2 minutes. Incorporate God’s Word into our prayers as much as possible (Isaiah 55:11). The focus of our prayer time is: church, pastors, spiritual awakening and the lost.

This prayer time is dedicated to the Lord. We honor Him by:

  • being on time
  • putting the needs of others above our own (Philippians 2:3-4).
  • praying in unity (Romans 15:5-6)
