"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:6-7
Our Prayer Ministry consists of a group of Prayer Warriors who lift up the needs of our church, our community, our nation, and our world. We would consider it an honor if you would allow us to prayer for your special need.
In addition to praying for special needs, we also want to make an impact by praying for the spiritual awakening of our families, our friends, our nation and our world.
Will you join us in answering the call?
(The Current Prayer Needs/Hospital List is only available to First Baptist members. To view the PDF, contact Carolyn Bryan for the password.)
Please take time to pray for the requests below. Once you have prayer for them, click on “I Prayed For This” to let them know they have been prayed for.
My father (92), Vernon Hargrove, injured his knee last night while taking off his shoes. He & my mother (90) live at home in Augusta, GA. He wouldn't go to the emergency room & leave my mother alone. My sister, Cathy, lives in Rock Hill, SC, & visits often to help them out with medications, etc. She is on her way there now. Please pray for quick healing &, especially, for guidance for all of us in making decisions about future arrangements for them. Momma is healthy but doesn't get around well. Daddy is used to driving & being independent. They have been adamant about continuing to live at home but Momma doesn't want hired strangers in her home trying to help out in ways she doesn't like. Cathy has gone way beyond the call in looking out for them, to the detriment of her own health & lifestyle. I want to physically help out more but it's a complicated situation. Thanks for your prayers! Shari
