What to Expect

We are excited to have you exploring our web site and look forward to having you and your family as our guests at First Baptist Montgomery. From children to senior adults, there is a place for you no matter your age or stage of life. Here is some helpful information to make you feel "at home" when you visit. If you have a question that is not covered here, please contact us here.

On Sundays, First Baptist Montgomery has two morning worship services (8:30 AM & 11:00 AM) and one evening service (6:15 PM). It is helpful if you arrive 15 to 20 minutes prior to the start of the service to allow time for parking and to ensure an excellent seat.

Parking for our guests is located in the Perry Street parking lot directly across the street from the main sanctuary. Handicap parking is available in the Scott Street parking lot and the Adams Street parking lot. There is ample parking in the deck on the corner of Scott & Lawrence Street.

The Welcome Center is located in the main sanctuary foyer on the 2nd floor. Greeters will answer your questions and escort you to worship or to a Bible Fellowship Class.

Come as you are. We are more concerned about meeting your needs than what you wear. You can dress up or down, what matters is that you come ready to worship God.

First Baptist Montgomery provides preschool childcare at both morning services so parents can experience a meaningful time of worship. Preschoolers age 4 though kindergarten can participate in PEW (Preschoolers Experiencing Worship) during the 11:00 AM service.

There is a Bible Fellowship Class for all members of your family. These classes provide the opportunity for you to meet new people and to nurture authentic friendships with people who are seeking fellowship and spiritual growth just like you. We encourage you to drop in on a Bible Fellowship Class when you visit.
