Conversational English

Conversational English courses are designed for those whose English skills make it difficult for them to function in the community. Classes are held on Thursdays (September through May) from 9:00 to 11:15 AM.

Conversational English is a cooperative effort of Baptist Churches in Montgomery and has been in existence for more than 25 years. It is fully supported by offerings and gifts from these churches. Each year there are around 100 adult students who attend Conversational English classes. Transportation and childcare for students is provided.

Ways you can volunteer to share God's love to the World!

Train to be a teacher.
Be a preschool volunteer and care for these precious, international children.
Be a van driver to pick up students who need transportation.
Provide snacks for students one or two times during the year. This is a great project for a Sunday School class or mission group.
