Are You a SAINT!

One Sunday morning, a group of children went on a Sunday School class field trip. They ventured over to their church's sanctuary to learn God’s truth from their beautiful stained glass windows. Each of the windows depicted Biblical heroes. The kind teacher told her class about the first window which displayed a portrait of the gospel writer Mark. She explained to her attentive eight-year-old students, "This is Saint Mark, the man who walked out on his missionary assignment but God gave him a second chance and he wrote one of the most important books of the Bible."
Next they stood in front of another stained glass window that depicted Paul, God’s mighty missionary. The teacher said, "Here is Saint Paul who started following Christ on the Damascus Road and became one of God's most faithful servants."
A little boy's hand shot up into the air and he blurted out a question, "Hey Teacher, you said that Paul and Mark were saints — what exactly is a saint?"
The wise teacher threw the question back to the students by asking, "Boys and Girls, what do you think a saint is?"
A precocious young lady volunteered an insightful response when she offered, "A saint is somebody who is like the stained glass windows — they let God's light shine through them!"
Jesus taught, "You are the light of the world, let your light so shine among men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)
Saints keep shining instead of whining!
