Charlotte Cearley Multifocus Group

Description:
This group of approximately 20 active members meets on the 2nd Monday from September through May at 7:00 PM at members homes. The facilitators are Kathy Hall (271.1286) and Kathy Smith (467.9178).

Namesake:
Charlotte Cearley and her husband Tim have been serving as missionaries in Africa with the International Mission Board for more than 25 years. Countries where they have served are Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Botswana, and South Africa. Presently, they are serving as Strategy Leaders with Central, Eastern and Southern Africa (CESA). Charlotte, a native of Alabama, is the daughter of Harrell & Ann Cushing, members of First Baptist Montgomery. Tim & Charlotte are the parents of three children, Matt, Joy and Sarah.

Purpose:
1. Pray for Missions – A guest missionary or mission team member typically shares with the group during monthly meetings. The focus is on praying for missions.
2. Give to Missions - A heart for giving to local, state and international missions is emphasized.
3. Do Missions - Several local mission opportunities through the Caring Center, the Nehemiah Center, Baptist Campus Ministries, and Montgomery Baptist Association are offered and many members have participated in First Baptist Montgomery sponsored mission trips.
